Burger Barn

"Quaint old school burger joint, constant flow of customers, many ordering to go. Seems to be a very popular place, the type of place that is part of people's daily routines. My bacon cheeseburger wasn't too small, nor too big, the fries were a very size portion. Staff were warm & friendly, treat you like friends from the moment they greet you. If you want to leave them a tip at check out tell them BEFORE they run your credit card, can't leave one after. Their T-shirts are nice quality as well."

"I grew up in Union Grove. Back then we called it the 'booger barn' because the food was greasy and bad. The staff was always the local high school kids who purposely messed up your order if they didn't like you. I moved from there and we fast forward 20-something years in the future. Took my family there this past summer after my oldest sons summer camp ended. They have definitely redeemed themselves. Food was very good. The price for 4 people was very reasonable. The staff was actually grown up adults (for that day anyway) which is a nice change in pace from what I remember. I feel I can finally recommend this place. The newspaper clips and articles posted next to the restrooms about the areas past was a plus. The Nascar decor must have been taken down a while back so that was different."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here - stopped by completely on a whim as we stopped for gas. As you enter the restaurant, the grill smell hits you full and, if you are hungry, you will be hungrier! Prices are very great, and the burgers are excellent. Burgers made on a flat-top, fries came out crispy, the coin-sized tots were crispy outside and soft inside, and all was delicious. Had we not been driving as far, we would have gotten milkshakes. Expect counter service, smiling faces behind the counter, and an excellent, inexpensive meal."
